LEADING UNDER PRESSURE · COGNITIVE BEHAVIOURAL COACHING
Pressure doesn't always look like pressure.
You already know how to perform. Learn to lead through the pressure instead of just surviving it, and protect the person behind the performance.

WHEN COPING STARTS TO COST YOU
It starts quietly, not as a crisis
None of it feels like a problem on its own. You explain each change away. But the pattern is the problem. Over time, it drains your energy, relationships and clarity.
And because you are good at what you do, almost nobody notices. Sometimes, neither do you.
I work with leaders who perform at a high level but are tired of paying such a high personal price for it.
Together, we build the skills to stay effective under pressure while protecting your health, relationships and sense of direction.
The quiet signs
-
A drink to unwind becomes two or more.
-
Sleep suffers, exercise slips, takeaways increase.
-
You stay later at your desk. Your patience shortens.
-
Work starts to follow you home.
-
The 3 a.m. replay of a tense meeting.
-
Tightness in your chest before a board presentation.
-
The quiet question of whether this is still the right path.
THE WEIGHT YOU CARRY
It's emotional, not just logistical.
Each of these asks something different of you, so I won't hand you a generic playbook. We look at what you're facing and shape the work around it.
Performance anxiety before the moments that count
The emotional impact of a relationship breakdown
Conflict that won’t resolve
Burnout, anger, imposter feelings and procrastination
Organisational change: a reorganisation, a merger, a new boss
Career uncertainty and where this is heading
A workload that never really ends
Turning to food, alcohol or smoking to cope with stress
Every meeting left me anxious and stressed. It began affecting my sleep, appetite and overall wellbeing. Zana’s cognitive-behavioural coaching made a real difference. After the fifth session, I began to feel more resilient and confident in handling the relationship with the client.

RESILIENCE IS LIKE BUILDING MUSCLE
Gritting your teeth works until it doesn’t.
Real resilience is a set of learnable skills. Build them, and you stop dreading the next disruption, whether that’s a market shift, a failed launch or a personal crisis spilling into work. The
inner groundwork that makes high performance sustainable: evidence-informed Cognitive Behavioural Coaching and Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction.
Loosen the grip of negative thinking.
Question the story your mind tells you when you’re at your lowest.
Build relationships that lift you.
Practical tools for real connection at work and at home.
Create habits that hold you up.
Routines that leave more in reserve when pressure rises.
Break overwhelm into manageable pieces.
Ways to tackle what feels too big, ready to use the same day.
Calm your body’s stress response.
Simple techniques that bring you back to centre when it counts.
EMOTIONAL REGULATION YOU CAN USE IN THE ROOM
Learn to notice the signal early, and you create space to choose.
Reactive moments don’t come from nowhere. There is usually a signal first: tense shoulders, a racing heartbeat, shallow breathing or the urge to withdraw. In that space, you have a choice.
We don’t simply discuss these situations. We rehearse them through role-play and scenario work, so you can practise a different response before you need it with your executive team.
In coaching, you will learn to:
-
Recognise your early physical signs of stress.
-
Name what you feel with more precision. “Stressed” tells you very little.
-
Prepare responses for the situations most likely to unsettle you.
-
Ground yourself when emotion rises.
-
Identify recurring triggers and respond more effectively.
WHEN YOU'RE NO LONGER RUNNING ON EMPTY
You stay composed
When conflict escalates.
You switch off
More patience for the people closest to you, and work stops following you home.
You decide soundly
Clear communication and good decisions in difficult moments.
It lasts
Practical strategies that work in real life and last beyond coaching.
IS THIS COACHING OR THERAPY?
Coaching isn't therapy, and you don't necessarily need therapy to benefit from it. This is a focused, practical, forward-looking approach. If I think you'd be better served by clinical support, I'll tell you plainly.
You also don't have to be at a breaking point. The best time to start is while you can still choose your next move.
